Have you seen these cupcakes on Pinterest? I love them. I pinned them hoping that someday I’d have a reason to make them. Little did I know, that day came fast! Our church had an Oz themed dinner! Hooray!

I didn’t have the time to figure out fondant, so I grabbed some Sour Punch Straws and some Starbursts. I trimmed the straws to the length I wanted for the legs. I cut the Starbursts in half for the shoes, and used my fingers to make the ends a little more pointy.
Because the cupcakes have the little leg extentions, I figured that they would need their own little plate of some kind. I took a large photo envelope from some 8×10 prints I ordered and cut little squares out. If I had time and wanted to be super cute, I would have used my cute wrapping paper. But, short on time and having a teething baby, I used foil. No tape needed!

I squished the Starburst on top the Straws, then iced the cupcake. I didn’t spend time icing it since it was going to be squished anyway. Then, I plopped it right onto the legs. Plop!
I think they were cuter without the wrapper, but you could find some decorative ones and go crazy.

How easy are those! And super cute and super fun! To make these yourself, you will need:
