Nature Valley Bars Best Price

We have talked about in the past the best place to use your coupons.  Free is always good, but sometimes if you only have 1 or 2 coupons, getting 1 item free isn’t as good of a deal as getting 5 for $1.  I just noticed the Nature Valley granola bars are on sale and wanted to know what the best deal was at the Dollar Stores.  Here is the break down:

Dollar Tree 5-6  ct
$0.50/2 Nature Valley Granola Bars or Nature Valley Granola Thins printable
Final Price $.15 a bar WYB 2 boxes

Family Dollar 6-12 Ct 2.50

Now, the price per bar is much cheaper at Dollar Tree. BUT if you only have 1 computer and can only print 2 coupons, maybe getting 48 bars at Dollar General is the better deal because if you use your coupons at Dollar Tree, you will only get about a dozen.  AND you could also wait until this weekend and use the coupon with Dollar Generals $5 off $25 and bring the price down to Dollar Tree’s price, but you’d need to buy a lot

Personally, if I had a bunch of kids I would consider spending $19 on a ton of those granola bars. But I just have the one right now, so that isn’t really a great option for me. I would probably go to Dollar Tree.
