Lubbock Pumpkin Trail

Last night we took our little guy to the Pumpkin Trail here in Lubbock.  We went last year and it was a lot of fun, and I was excited to go again this year.  It’s a great place to bring the whole family-especially the kids. There is a LOT of Red Raider spirit here-although this year I only saw about 5 or so Tech pumpkins.   Last year it seemed like there were about 15.  Either way, you definitely don’t want to miss this if you are in the area.

  1. I have never been to a Pumpkin Trail, probably because the heat here in Arizona would wither the pumpkins. Are the pumpkins already carved when you get there, or do you carve them as part of the experience?

    • The community donates all the pumpkins carved already, and then volunteers set them out and keep them lit at night. Lots of businesses will donate elaborate displays with the pumpkins. It’s really cute and fun.
