Glade Candles and Sale :)

Dollar General has all their Glade products on sale, and there are some awesome coupons to go with them. Now, I love Dollar General… but the last time I bought a TON of Glade I bought it at Target because they had a B1G1 sale, and they were on sale, AND I had coupons. It was a crazy good deal! Now, if you are going to buy GLade at Dollar General I would combine it with this Saturday’s $5 off a $25 purchase coupon!

I read on another website that you can’t use that $5/$25 as your first coupon at DG, that it must be used after all the manufacturers coupons have been scanned and brought your total back down to $25. Now I know I have done it the other way before but its been months ago and was just wondering if the policy has changed????

    • I just did the $5 off $25 last week – nothing has changed that I know of! Wherever you read that information it’s wrong. It even states on some coupons (depending if you printed it/on the receipt) it actually TELLS you to use the $5 off $25 FIRST. Otherwise after you use coupons then your total wouldn’t be $25 and the coupon won’t work.

I wonder if they are confusing Family Dollar? Occasionally they have a $5 off $25 coupon, but your total must be $25 AFTER all coupons… so no matter what you are spending $20.
