Dollar Tree: Christmas Village

Before Halloween was even over, CHristmas stuff began appearing EVERYWHERE. Dollar Tree has a TON of Christmas/Holiday season stuff!

I have the CUTEST craft that I made this weekend with about $8 in Dollar Tree Christmas ornaments. I will be posting it Monday. I am planning on making a couple with my Mother in Law and Sister in Law when they come for Thanksgiving :) It’s super easy, super cute and I love it. Stay tuned!

Some of you have been wondering about the quality of the Dollar Tree Christmas village.  Dollar Tree has a huge Variety for your Christmas Village.  They carry benches and trees, lamp posts, little people, houses, gazebos and more. Their trees are identical to the ones found at Hobby Lobby and Michaels, only Hobby Lobby sells them for $6.99 and Dollar Tree is only $1.

Looking up close at the quality of the Dollar Tree Christmas Village they’re alright.  They are definitely hand painted, and for $1, the price is right.  Actually, probably better for just $1.  I think the fact you can actually tell that that’s a squirrel peaking out of the top of that Christmas tree is pretty darn good. It even has eyes.  You couldn’t get me to sit down and paint one of those trees for $1.

Aside from the characters you would find living in a Christmas Village, Dollar Tree has a ton of little shops as well!  They’re really cute.  If you look really hard you can see where the paint has spilled over in some places, but honestly, they’re only $1.  You can score an entire village for $15.  If you were to buy something similar at a craft store you would easily be looking at $50 or more.  Christmas Villages are very expensive, but if you are on a budget, the Christmas Village from the Dollar Tree is perfect.   So just a heads up, if you are looking for Christmas stuff, take a stop and check out Dollar Tree.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
