I thought the $5 coupon can only be used AFTER all other coupons are subtracted?????
This is copied from their coupon policy:
Family Dollar $5 off $25 coupon is accepted as long as the net purchase, AFTER all other offers, coupons and/or discounts have been applied is $25 or more.
I’ve tried to do a deal in the past as you have suggested, with the sub-total being over $25, and using the $5/25 q first, THEN the other q’s, but the register won’t allow it. I thought it was just my store until I actually looked up the policy…..Am I missing something??
Thanks for all your help!
Hey Jan!
You have the stores mixed up. Dollar General DOES allow you to do the $5 off a $25 first, then the manufacturer coupons. Family Dollar won’t let you do that. That’s why it really is never as great a deal at Family Dollar when they offer that coupon because you’re spending $20 no matter what.
