Vistaprint is still offering their free 2013 wall calendar! I make these every year and can’t imagine a calender on my wall that isn’t full of family photos. You can enter your family and friends birthdays and they will save them for future use. What I like to do is go through my photos and use photos from each month to fill the calendar. For the 2013 calendar, I would fill January’s pictures with January 2012 photos, especially ones like my baby in the snow. For February I would use Valentine’s Day photos and so on. It usually turns out really cute :)

I have mentioned this before, but I love taking photos. I think people look at them more when they’re in a photo album, and in 20 years I am not sure what our digital images will look like or how I’ll be storing them, but I do know that my photo books will still be around :) When I print photos, I try to pretend like I have 1 maybe 2 rolls of film per month. Remember that? 24 pictures per roll… and I would use about 1 roll a month.  When I keep it in perspective, it helps me sort my pictures into what I would call “print worthy.”
