This is pretty big news from this morning! Amazon raised the super saver shipping limit to $35! It was just $25 yesterday. There are certain items on Amazon that are not cost effect to ship free by themselves, so you have to have $35 in your cart to qualify for free shipping. Many stores charge $50+ to qualify for free shipping, so I feel like this isn’t the end of the world.
Amazon Prime members will still get free 2 day shipping and now would be a better time than ever to get your free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime. It’s $79 per year after the free trial and will give you access to free instant videos (awesome deal since Netflix is $96 a year), 2 day shipping and more year round. If you order a lot from Amazon it’s a great way to avoid over spending to reach the $35 minimum or paying additional shipping on small orders.
This came from the details section:
“Amazon’s minimum order size for free shipping has changed to $35. This is the first time in more than a decade that Amazon has altered the minimum order for free shipping in the US. During that time, we have expanded free shipping selection by millions of items across all 40 product categories. Look for “FREE Shipping” on product pages to discover eligible items. “
Shipping may be extra, be sure to check out Amazon Prime for FREE 2 DAY SHIPPING (use THIS LINK for a free 30 day trial!)
