Hey! I tried the Dana print out coupon and it wouldn’t scan. I was told first, it wasn’t a manufacturer coupon, when I pointed out at the top where it says it is I was then told I didn’t have the right product. I had Loves Baby Soft, I pointed out the product on the coupon and explained it was the same just different bottles. He said he tried to key it in and it still didn’t work and there was nothing he could do. It expired 12-29-12 by the way…should I try another store?
Hmmm. You aren’t the only one who had a cashier not accept the coupon. I think the other girl went to Family Dollar, they’re $2.50 there.
Is there a place in the coupon policy that state that the $5 off $25 can be used BEFORE Manu coupons? My store says it must be 25 AFTER Man Q’s and that they MUST come off before they take off the $5. store Q. yesterday I insisted they take off the $5 store Q first, and then the register would not ACCEPT ANY of my Manu Q’s. It was a long MESS. I wrote the corp. website email address and asked the question and asked what was the policy and where is it written, but when I saw this today, I thought I’d see what anyone else has to say!

It doesn’t say it on the policy, but it does on the actual coupon.. I am going to dig up some more information for you and make a post about this! You aren’t the only one who has had this issue.
Next time maybe be sneaky and let them use that $5 off one first, THEN tell them you have more
… (you’re not really being sneaky, as they should be taking the coupons that way anyway!) Perhaps the trouble is that they have dinosaur registers so when you take the $5 off, it takes an amount off each item. Somtimes that causes the computer to freak out. Like if you bought $25 items that were $1 each, it would take off like .20 cents for each item, making them now $.80 each int he computer. If you are using a $1 off coupon, the register freaks out because the item is now only $.80. It takes a trained cashier to understand this.
I also had trouble with using the $5 off $25 with manq cpns and they said that wasn’t allowed as far as the registers went. I tried 2 different stores, same thing at both.
I completely understand all of you. Here in el paso there are a lot of cashier here tat look at a coupon then look back at me and say what am I suppose to do with this. The first time I use the $5 off $25 q the cashier looked at it and told me she will aske about that one. I stopped her and asked her why and she said that it was bcuz I am using other coupons. I told her this is the coupon that I got at the bottom of my receipt and and it states to use it first. So she then tried to tell me I could either save the 5 or save using the other MQ and save. I told her that the $5 Q does prohibit that on MQ’s. So she call the manager and the manger says to scan it first. Then for the other coupons to scan then some other way ( I which I was able to notice their secret code but not such what she did) . On my receipt the whole amount for each coupon came off. Then after I did another transaction like that she looked at me and said well u taught me something and u saved a lot of money. Then told me that I got two more receipts to do it again next week am I coming back . I told her yeah if they have the things I need to buy I have no problem bring patronizing this store as long as the store going to accept coupons. And she seemed a little happier. And I was definitely happier.
